The Nell Boergoat Stud was established near the Loskop Valley in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa early in 2006 when owner Johann Nell decided to register his already strong flock as a stud and to join the South African Boergoat Breeders' Society (SABBS).

Our flock consists of 200 well selected ewes and rams from some of the best breeders in the industry. One of our most important objectives is to breed Boergoats according to the breed standards as implemented by the South African Boergoat Breeders' Society. We had been breeding Boergoats for a long time before we registered our stud, but due to our love for this magnificent animal and the quest for perfect animals, we knew we had to become a member of the SABBS. We strongly believe in our genetics and know that performance testing and monitoring will ensure that our clients are satisfied.
